HOTWHEELSHUB COLLECTOR REFERENCE
The 2026 Hot Wheels list below covers every annual collector number from 001/250 to 250/250. Each row gives the casting name, the themed mini-series it belongs to, its slot inside that series (such as 3/5 or 7/10), and a chase label where a regular Treasure Hunt or a Super Treasure Hunt counterpart exists.
One thing to know up front: this is a list of 250 numbered positions, not a count of every physical car. A single number can come in several colors, and a Super Treasure Hunt version shares the same number as its ordinary counterpart. Use this page to find where a car belongs in the year, then check your own card to work out which version you have.

Every mainline card carries a few different numbers and codes, and they answer different questions. It helps to keep them apart.
- Collector number (001/250 to 250/250). This is the annual position of the car in the 2026 mainline range. Each number appears once in this list.
- Mini-series slot (n/5 or n/10). Most mainline cars belong to a themed set. The slot tells you the car’s place in that set. In this list, 20 series have 5 cars and 15 series have 10 cars, which adds up to 35 mini-series in total.
- Toy code. This is a short alphanumeric code on the card that identifies a specific release. It is not the same thing as the collector number, and this list does not publish toy codes.
- Case code. This is a letter that collectors use to track which assortment a car shipped in. Our guide to reading Hot Wheels case codes explains how it works. A case report shows that a car appeared in that assortment. It does not prove it was the first case the car shipped in, so this list does not print case letters beside the cars.
- Colors and recolors. The same casting can show up in different colors under the same number. This index tracks the number, not every color.
What the chase label means
The chase column uses two specific labels, plus blank entries.
- Blank: neither a regular Treasure Hunt nor a Super Treasure Hunt counterpart is flagged for that collector-number slot.
- Regular TH: the car in that slot is one of the 15 regular Treasure Hunts for 2026.
- STH variant exists: a Super Treasure Hunt version of this casting exists under the same collector number. The standard car in this row is not itself a Super. The label only tells you that a separate, rarer variant is part of that slot.
For the full year, 15 rows carry the Regular TH label and 15 rows carry the STH variant label. For release-by-release detail, see our 2026 Hot Wheels Treasure Hunts tracker. If you want to see how the full year fits together, the 2026 releases hub and the complete guide to 2026 Hot Wheels releases cover the bigger picture.
A few numbers that cause confusion
Some entries look like duplicates or have conflicting names in collector references. These examples explain the distinctions.
- #093 Coupé Clip and #096 El Segundo Coupe are two different castings. A blue Coupé Clip variant is sometimes called El Segundo Coupé Clip, but that does not create an extra slot and it is not the El Segundo Coupe at #096.
- #106 and #142 are both Mazda RX-3 castings. #106 sits in Compact Kings and #142 sits in Tooned. They are separate numbers.
- #148 Tooned Purple Passion belongs to HW Dream Garage 5/5. The word Tooned in the name does not put it in the Tooned mini-series.
- #164 Classic ’55 Nomad belongs to Wagons 6/10.
- #116 is the ’87 Ford Sierra Cosworth. If you see a different number for it elsewhere, go by the number on your card.
- #248 is Custom Vanster. Earlier reporting used the name Vanster Rallye for the same slot.

No email signup or paid membership is required to access the file.
Download the Free PDF ChecklistDirect PDF link. For best results, use your PDF reader’s print settings to fit each page to the paper size.
For a separate planner with store logs and collector notes, see the optional 2026 Treasure Hunt Field Checklist. It is a different paid product; you do not need it to use the free numbered checklist.
Regular Treasure Hunts versus Super variants in the 2026 list
Two kinds of chase markers appear in the tables above, and they work differently.
Regular Treasure Hunts (15). The 250-row reference flags all 15 regular Treasure Hunt positions. Mattel’s official 2026 poster identifies 15 regular Treasure Hunt castings, but it does not supply this entire numbered table. Use the Regular TH labels above to find the corresponding collector numbers.
Super Treasure Hunt counterparts (15). Fifteen different collector-number positions have a separate Super Treasure Hunt version, shown as STH variant exists. A standard mainline car in one of these positions is not automatically a Super. The Super variants are documented through specialist collector reporting rather than Mattel’s full-year poster.
About case assignments: Collector reports associate chase models with particular assortment letters, but no report guarantees that a given physical carton contains a particular chase car. Use our 2026 Treasure Hunts tracker for the documented case pairings and variant-identification guidance.
We omit exact product codes for the Super counterparts of #160 Lotus Sport Elise and #176 Subaru Impreza WRX because specialist sources disagree on those assignments. Neither ambiguity affects the collector numbers or the fact that Super counterparts are documented.
How to identify the exact variation you own
Once you have found your car’s number, a few details on the card and the car narrow down which version you are holding.
- Check the collector number and series. The card shows the number out of 250 and the mini-series name. Match both against the table.
- Look at the color and finish. Many castings appear in more than one color in the same year. Color is the first thing that separates versions under one number.
- Read the toy code. The code printed on the card points to a specific release. It is the most precise identifier a collector has on the package, but this list does not catalog every code.
- Inspect the base and the wheels. Base details, wheel types and tampos can differ between versions. Keep the card if you can, since it carries most of the proof.
- Check the card art and region. Card text and packaging can vary by market, so compare against your own card instead of assuming the wording here is exactly what is printed.
This page does not list every color or recolor. For a car with a Super counterpart, compare against the chase notes in our Treasure Hunt tracker.
Source methodology and checklist updates
This list was assembled as an independent collector reference, and it is worth being clear about what it can and cannot claim.
What the official source covers. Mattel’s 2026 full-year poster is the official reference. It confirms 50 new models and 15 regular Treasure Hunts. It does not list all 250 numbers with series and slots, and it does not show Super versions. Source: Mattel Creations, 2026 Hot Wheels full-year poster.
What the numbered list is built from. The 250 numbers, castings and series come from specialist collector case reports and casting references, cross-checked against each other. Every number from 001 to 250 has an individual numbered reference. The 35 mini-series and the 15 and 15 chase counts were reconciled against our own Treasure Hunt tracker and independent case references. Where sources disagreed on a number, name or series, we resolved the conflict in favor of the reconciled collector reference, which is why the confusing rows are explained above.
What this list does not claim.
- It is not an official Mattel list and has not been certified by Mattel.
- It was not checked card by card against original packaging.
- It does not say which case a car first shipped in, when it reached stores, or whether it is in stock anywhere.
- It does not include prices, rarity ratings or resale values.
- It does not catalog every color or regional variation.
Additional collector references for cross-checking. The official Mattel poster is linked above; the following specialist references support comparison of numbered entries and case reporting.

2026 Hot Wheels list FAQs
Does the 2026 Hot Wheels list include 250 different cars in every color?
No. The list has 250 numbered positions each year. One number can appear in several colors, and a Super Treasure Hunt counterpart shares the same number as its ordinary version. It indexes numbers, not every physical variation.
Why does my car in a different color have the same number as another car?
The collector number identifies the casting’s place in the 2026 range. Recolors of that casting keep the same number. Check the color, toy code, and card details to tell versions apart.
Does “STH variant exists” mean the car in that row is a Super Treasure Hunt?
No. It means a separate Super version exists under the same number. The ordinary release in that row is a normal mainline car.
How are the case letters related to when cars show up in stores?
Case letters group cars into assortments that collectors track. A case report shows that a car appeared in that assortment. It does not prove the car’s first release or tell you when a store will receive it. See our guide to reading Hot Wheels case codes.
Where can I get the printable 2026 Hot Wheels checklist?
The free printable checklist is available through the PDF download section. It covers all 250 collector numbers, includes an ownership checkbox for each, and doesn’t require an email address.
