Refund Policy
This policy explains how refund requests for HotWheelsHub digital products are handled and what to do if you experience a problem with your purchase.
HotWheelsHub provides independently created digital collector resources, including printable guides, checklists, trackers, reference materials, and other downloadable products. We want customers to understand what they are purchasing and how refund requests are handled before completing a transaction.
Digital Products
Products sold by HotWheelsHub are generally digital products delivered electronically. Unless a product page specifically states otherwise, no physical product will be shipped.
Because downloadable products may become immediately accessible after purchase, refund eligibility may differ from refunds for physical goods.
General Refund Policy
Except where required by applicable law or permitted under the policies of our payment provider, purchases of digital products may become non-refundable once the digital product has been delivered, downloaded, accessed, or otherwise made available to the purchaser.
However, we want customers to receive the product that was described at the time of purchase. Refund requests or support requests may therefore be considered when there is a genuine problem with a transaction or digital product.
When a Refund May Be Considered
A refund or other appropriate resolution may be considered in circumstances including:
- You were charged more than once for the same transaction.
- You completed a purchase but were unable to access the digital product because of a verified delivery or technical problem.
- The downloaded file is materially defective, corrupted, or unusable and we are unable to provide a working replacement.
- The product delivered is materially different from the description presented on the product page at the time of purchase.
- A refund is required under applicable consumer-protection law.
- Our payment provider determines that the transaction qualifies for a refund under its applicable buyer or refund policies.
Situations That May Not Qualify for a Refund
Subject to applicable law and payment-provider requirements, a refund may not normally be provided solely because:
- You changed your mind after downloading or accessing the product.
- You purchased the product accidentally but downloaded or used it.
- You decided that you no longer need the collector resource.
- You expected features, information, physical items, or services that were not included in the product description.
- You lack compatible software or equipment to open or print a standard file format that was clearly stated on the product page.
- You have already copied, distributed, reproduced, resold, or otherwise misused the digital product.
These examples do not override any mandatory refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or consumer-protection rights that apply to you.
Purchases Processed Through Paddle
When HotWheelsHub uses Paddle to process a transaction, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for that purchase.
This means the payment transaction may also be governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, Refund Policy, and applicable consumer protection requirements.
Paddle may approve a full or partial refund, decline a refund, or otherwise resolve a request according to its policies and applicable law.
Customers may use the support or refund options provided in their Paddle transaction receipt or visit Paddle Buyer Support for payment-related assistance.
If Paddle's applicable buyer terms, mandatory consumer law, or another legally binding requirement provides you with greater refund rights than this policy, those rights will apply.
Consumer and Regional Rights
Consumer refund and withdrawal rights vary by country and region. In some jurisdictions, customers may have statutory rights to cancel certain digital-content purchases within a specified period.
For digital products, those rights may change once downloading, streaming, access, or use of the digital content begins, particularly where the customer has expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged the applicable consequences.
HotWheelsHub and its payment providers will respect mandatory consumer rights that apply to an eligible transaction.
Problems With a Digital Product
If you are unable to access your purchase or believe that a file is defective, please contact HotWheelsHub before submitting a payment dispute.
Where possible, we may attempt to resolve the problem by providing:
- A replacement download link
- A corrected or replacement file
- Technical assistance with accessing the purchased product
- Another appropriate resolution based on the circumstances
If the problem cannot reasonably be resolved, the transaction may be reviewed for refund eligibility.
How to Request Help or a Refund
To help us review your request efficiently, please provide:
- Your name
- The email address used for the purchase
- The product purchased
- Your transaction or order reference, if available
- A brief explanation of the problem
- Screenshots or other relevant information when they help demonstrate a technical or delivery issue
You can contact HotWheelsHub at: support@hotwheelshub.com
For purchases processed through Paddle, customers may also submit eligible refund requests through the support options included in their Paddle receipt or through Paddle Buyer Support.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method when possible.
Processing times may depend on the payment provider, card issuer, bank, payment method, customer location, and the circumstances of the transaction.
HotWheelsHub cannot guarantee the exact date on which a bank or payment provider will make refunded funds available to the customer.
Product Access After a Refund
If a purchase is refunded, the purchaser's license and right to use the refunded digital product may end.
The purchaser should no longer download, reproduce, distribute, resell, share, or otherwise use the refunded product except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you experience a legitimate problem with a purchase, we encourage you to contact HotWheelsHub or the applicable payment provider first so that the issue can be investigated and, where possible, resolved.
Nothing in this section limits any lawful rights you may have to dispute a payment through your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or applicable consumer-protection process.
